Sinus Problems Reviews
My experience with Dr. Levine at Beach Cities ENTS was very favorable. He cured my sinus infection, but, more than that, he gave me pointers for avoiding future sinus problems. Some of these pointers were new and more detailed than those I had been given in the past, so I'm excited to see how they improve my quality of life.
Dr Brett Levine is amazing. He is so thorough and professional. He has worked diligently to find the cause of my sinus problems. He is very kind and compassionate. I highly recommend him!!!

Sinus Problems FAQs
Can weather changes make sinus problems worse?
Changes in temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure can make sinus symptoms more noticeable for some people. Dry air may irritate the nasal passages, while changes in atmospheric pressure can contribute to feelings of pressure or congestion. Frequent symptoms related to weather changes may warrant an evaluation to determine whether an underlying sinus or nasal condition is contributing.
Can sinus problems cause bad breath?
Chronic sinus problems can sometimes contribute to bad breath, particularly when congestion leads to post-nasal drainage or mucus buildup. Mouth breathing caused by nasal obstruction can also contribute to dry mouth, which may make bad breath worse. Persistent bad breath can have many causes, however, so an evaluation may be needed to determine whether the sinuses are involved.
Why do my sinus problems seem worse at night?
Sinus symptoms can become more noticeable when lying down because mucus may not drain as easily and nasal congestion can increase. Allergens in the bedroom, dry air, and conditions such as acid reflux may also contribute to nighttime symptoms. Identifying what is causing persistent nighttime congestion can help guide treatment.
