Beach Cities ENTS seeks to hire a back office Medical Assistant to join our team. The Medical Assistant functions as the primary clinical support to physicians and patients who are seen, served, and treated by the physicians.
Who We Are: We are a group of Ear, Nose, and Throat Surgeons caring for newborns to the elderly with ENT problems ranging from hearing loss, ear, sinus and throat infections, voice, swallowing and breathing problems, to cancers and tumors of the head and neck.
Benefits provided to our staff: Full time 40 hours/week, hourly position with great benefits including paid sick days, paid vacations and holidays, and health insurance.
What you’ll love about us: Beach Cities ENTS is seeking highly motivated, driven, interested medical assistant who wants to work directly with doctors and patients in a busy clinical Ear, Nose and Throat surgery office. This is an excellent opportunity for exposure and experience to all aspects of medicine including patient care, workflow, and health insurance. You will learn the ear, nose and throat vocabulary of anatomy, diagnoses, surgeries and treatments. It is a great opportunity for a letter of recommendation and to develop a relationship with a mentor.

Your responsibilities include rooming patients, taking medical histories, setting up the rooms to assist physicians during the visit, learning how to interview patients and take a complete medical history, and building meaningful relationships with patients and their family members. You will be a vital part of our team caring for our patients and optimizing their experience.
