"After an extensive search to find an ENT doctor that foremost would connect, be personable, and make my daughter feel comfortable, I made her an appointment as a new patient with Dr. Rose Eapen of Beach Cities ENTS.Yesterday was our first appointment at the Torrance Office and we arrived at the scheduled time. All of our new patient intake forms were completed online beforehand as well as a picture of our health insurance card which was convenient. I signed my daughter in at the reception window and we waited patiently to be called in. There was a little wait beyond our appointment time but our experience was well worth the delay.We were greeted by Dr. Eapen’s assistant who took some physical statistics prior to escorting us to the examination room. Upon being seated, we discussed the reasons for our visit and reviewed all of the info on the intake forms to check accuracy and provide more details of health history that would be pertinent to Dr. Eapen. Waiting for our introduction to Dr. Eapen, we felt a small bit of apprehension as we had never met before and as a parent I was hoping I made a good choice of who would provide care for my daughter. Dr. Eapen entered, flashed a smile, gave us a friendly greeting, and made us instantly feel comfortable with her demeanor. After discussing what brought us together on this day, Dr. Eapen began her examination all the while keeping us engaged in the process. At one point, Dr. Eapen needed her assistant to help with a nasal scope. The assistant brought a scope into the room which led to a friendly banter between the two about whose scope was already in the exam room and the one brought in. This led to laughs and presented a fun side to the team that was giving us care. Dr. Eapen continued her examination and keep us involved all along the way. Her expertise and experience was displayed in her actions, conversation, observations, advice, answering our questions, and overall chair side manner with my daughter and I. We felt deeply cared for and a genuine passion to help my daughter in addition to giving me assurance as a father. Dr. Eapen made arrangements for some tests and a CT scan for further evaluation prior to our next visit.If you can’t tell from my words, we are extremely happy with our choice of Dr. Rose Eapen and look forward to what’s ahead beyond just our first impressions and visit yesterday."

The doctor seemed nice and recommended removing it in the hospital due to its location and the sensitivity of it all. It was a quick visit, and I completely forgot to ask her 3 questions: if my daughter is qtip was brought up a few times, what's the name for the condition she has, and any other noninvasive treatment options available?"

"If you’re dealing with a lip or tongue tie, look no further—Dr. Rose Eapen is AMAZING! She’s not only highly professional, thorough, and incredibly knowledgeable, but also kind, compassionate, and truly understanding.Our 3-day-old had a significant tongue tie that was making breastfeeding very difficult. I was struggling with cracked nipples, a slow start to milk supply, and painful feeding sessions. Dr. Eapen answered all of our questions in detail, provided immediate treatment in the office, and even had me breastfeed afterward to ensure everything was going smoothly. It was such a positive and reassuring experience!The office staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful, which made the entire visit even better. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend Dr. Eapen and her team! :)"

"Highly recommend Dr. Rose Eapen. She is a knowledgeable and compassionate person who was able to treat my son's congestion when previous doctors failed.My son had severe congestion for over 6 months. This prevented him from running cross-country (his passion) and led him to become quite depressed. We worked with 3 doctors (2 ENTs and a pulmonologist) who only prescribed drugs. Unfortunately, none of the medications helped, and some even had side effects that made him sick.While searching for a new ENT, I came across Dr. Eapen's stellar reviews and promptly scheduled an appointment for my son to see her. During our visit, Dr. Eapen listened carefully as my son explained the details of his congestion. She performed a painless nasal endoscopy to thoroughly examine the issues within my son's nose and identify the problems.Subsequently, she recommended and prescribed a Neti Pot and Flonase. After just 3 weeks, this treatment cleared up most of his congestion!In addition to effectively treating the congestion, Dr. Eapen possesses an excellent bedside manner. She was able to connect with my son, formulate a plan, and provide treatment to alleviate his congestion and prepare him for his cross-country running. "Back in September, based on his therapist's observation, I took my son (twin 2) to Dr. Rose Eapen to consult about his tongue tie. During the visit, Dr. Eapen confirmed that he indeed had a tongue tie and suggested a procedure to take care of that.It's impeccable. We've got the procedure date set for mid October. The procedure was as smooth as it could get. Dr. Eapen explained the pre-op and post-op in detail ahead. The procedure went well. After the surgery, my son resumed his regular diet after a week of soft diet. We also started the recommended exercises. Three weeks later, his tongue range of motion improved a lot. Now he is learning to use his tongue effectively in eating hard-to-eat foods.I owe a huge appreciation to Dr. Eapen for the care and support during this whole process. It's remarkable to come by a highly qualified surgeon/doctor to be down-to-earth at the same time. We are grateful!I highly recommend Dr. Eapen for anyone seeking Pediatric ENT in and around Torrance."
"Dr. Eapen is an amazing doctor and has great bedside manner. My 4 year old son had a mess on his neck which needed to be removed. Dr. Eapen explained to my son the way he can understand what he will go through. She comforted not only us, the worried parents, but also our son. When he was going into the operating room, my son had a smile on his face. Dr. Eapen talked to us before and after the surgery and checked my son multiple times. "Dr. Eapen was great. My son has had a problem with abundant ear wax, and I thought I was going to Dr. Eapen to get it cleaned out. My son's ear canals are hard to see into, so I couldn't tell how effective my treatments were. It turns out, what I had done had worked!! There was nothing to be done when I went to the office so Dr. Eapen sent us home - no charge. She did look in his ears, nose, and throat and her bedside manner was warm and kind.I will return whenever my kids need an ENT. The office staff was also quite friendly."

"Best doctor office experience we've ever participated in - Dr. Eapen has a well organized system for intake and processing new patients (emailed all paperwork ahead of time, texted prescription request to pharmacy, easy co-payment) which helped us avoid a lengthy office visit. We were in and out in less than 20 minutes and my 6-year-old's ear is feeling much better following her exam, cleaning and prescription drops. Dr. Eapen's bedside manner is beyond reproach -- my daughter was giggly and even asked me if she could come back! Highly recommend Dr. Eapen!"

"Dr. Eapen is the best! I wish we lived in California as she would be our child’s doctor on a go forth basis. My daughter had been a little traumatized from some other pediatricians and urgent care doctors that didn’t know how to handle her little ears. She was scared to go back in and have her ears messed with. "I was referred to Dr Eapen by the urgent care docs down the street. I was in search of a Peds ENT that was affiliated with Miller’s. Most of the local ENTs are only affiliated with local TMMC or LCM. My son has Special Needs- swallowing issues being one of them and chronic ear infections, the other. I knew that if we needed ear tubes or any additional, I wanted the procedure to be at miller’s. Dr Eapen was so KIND. She is new to the area but not new to this ENT world or children with complex medical needs. She actually took the time to listen to our story and we soon worked out a plan. And guess what? She calls you back in a timely manner, her staff is kind and follows up.We had our procedure and I am so thankful we put tubes in my guys ear. He has TAKEN OFF with his speech- like over night.
